Top multinational advertising Group is looking for a Financial Controller based in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years working as Financial Controller/ Finance Manager in a multinational company. Experience in the Service sector (advertising, agency, media, digital...) will be very desirable. US-GAAP/SOX knowledge will be a plus. Excellent English level is a must.
Reporting to the Financial Director in Spain, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Manage day to day finance activities.
Ensure that all monthly closing is timely within corporate deadlines and in adherence to US-GAAP.
Provide Key decision support to regional manager with respect to forecasting, management reporting, preparation of annual operating plan.
Prepare monthly/ quarterly reviews/ analysis on key management performance indicators.
Provide management with ad hoc analysis and support as needed.
Ensure that VAT and other tax declarations are prepared and filed in a timely fashion.
Ensure local statutory accounts and corporate income tax returns and prepared for all entities on an annual basis.
Primary point of contact for external auditors and tax consultants.
Provide support for local SOX compliance.
Interact closely with corporate FP&A, Credit Control and Controllership in order to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines.
Build strong relationships with business management and be seen as a key member of the management team who adds value to the decision-making process.
Manage a team of 4-5 people.
This description is a guideline of the main responsibilities of the position.
Salary package: 60.000 - 70.000 euros fixed salary + fringe benefits (parking and life insurance).
Final offer will depend on the real experience demonstrated along the process.
