A key member of the dynamic local team, the candidate will liaise closely with colleagues across Europe’s offices. Has responsibility for formulating and executing asset management strategies for the Madrid portfolio. Taking full responsibility for the assets; including financial performance, business plan creation and execution, internal reporting, as well as working on investor reporting and relations. Key areas of focus will include maximizing income opportunities, analysing and implementing potential value-add strategies, and delivering the Social Benefit and Sustainability Action Plan. Additionally, the role will work closely with the Investment Team to advise on potential future acquisitions.
Define asset strategies for Office Assets.
Think strategically about the business plan, taking a lead on tenant negotiations, lease renewals etc.
Achieve the income targets across the properties under management.
Manage works projects, capitalising on internal and external project management/technical expertise.
Prepare budgets and update internal financial appraisals.
Report progress of the business plan against original targets highlighting changes or recommending alternative strategies.
Take an active role in community engagement and deliver social value and sustainability objectives.
Assist with reviewing and appraising potential new purchases, including acquisition and disposal due diligence, and input into business plans.
Take responsibility for the (out-sourced) property management.
Ensure Health and Safety compliance across the properties.
Recommend appointment and actively manage external advisors in pursuit of objectives.
Manage third party valuers in preparing valuations.
Collaboratively discuss strategic decision-making with colleagues.
