As member of the Group Talent CoE, contribute to shaping the group talent strategyLead the delivery of the group annual talent cycle in country/function:
Group Talent and Performance Cycle
Manage the ’Calibration’ and ’Performance Development Review’ processes to build ownership in the business and to complete the process effectively to the agreed timetable and quality
Facilitate ’Calibration’ and ’Performance Development Review’ processes providing guidance and appropriate challenge to management teams to build rigour and consistency that supports the development of a high-performance culture
Lead the annual ’Growth’ cycle ensuring that proper diagnosis and review of talent is conducted to inform the talent strategy - lead the delivery of the agreed action plans
Work in partnership with the Talent Partner community to shape the talent strategy and promote HR initiatives for the embedded functional talent populations and support delivery within the business
Liaison between business, region, division and group to assist with successful design and delivery of HR projects.
Talent Pipeline:
Build the talent pipeline for key job families and roles:
Establish and manage dynamic talent pools for key job families, working with the leaders and the wider HR community to identify top talent at all levels of the organisation
Encourage and stimulate internal movement of talent
Partner with the L&D CoE to develop career paths for key job families which provide managers and employees a blueprint to support career development
Partner the business leadership and HRD so that talent pipelining and search fully reflects the internal talent and succession insight and priorities
Identify pipeline gaps and put in place strategies to address.
Ensure Succession Plans are in place for key leadership roles
Talent Acquisition:
Work with the Head of Talent and Country HRD to deploy the appropriate talent acquisition strategy for the business/function:
Contribute to the graduate and apprentice Graduate Programme(s) to deliver a pipeline of high potential future leaders to the business/function
Contribute to the shape and focus of the Employee Value Proposition to ensure it targets the appropriate diverse talent pools to meet the business/functional talent needs
Support Managers with recruitment process when needed
Support new starters on-boarding experience
Talent Capability Development:
Work with the L&D lead and local HR to ensure the development of leadership and management programmes and the wider learning offer facilitates talent development at all levels
Ensure the talent insight leads the selection of participants for Group Leadership development programmes and that development plans are fully endorsed by their line managers
Identify targeted local talent development needs and put in place appropriate talent interventions to develop the bench-strength and diversity of the talent pipeline in line with the corporate and regional framework
Lead talent coaching aligned to the group strategic framework to build a coaching culture across the business
Partner leaders to build their capability as talent leaders and as owners of the business talent agenda.
Deploy the development assessment framework to build insight on the talent population and to inform the priorities for the local L&D agenda.
Ensure the right programme of development is provided to accelerate the development of graduates and other early career talent
