The IE Library supports the community with the best digital learning tools, developing people’s professional careers and achieving excellence in research, teaching and entrepreneurship, all based on our technological identity, and strong commitment to sustainability and culture. The selected candidate will manage the unit, as well as assist and cooperate with the direction of the IE Library. They will collaborate in the coordination and supervision of services and products offered by the library. Furthermore, they will fnform management of any actions, activities, incidents and anomalies that may occur in the operation of the library, proposing courses of action, and preparing those reports, statistics, and data analysis required for the various issues and initiatives undertaken by the department. The person will also develop the strategy of implementing cutting-edge technologies and collaborate on proposals for action plans to achieve excellent performance of the Library.

Key action areas:
•User training in groups and individually in English.
•Communication with all departments of the institution, faculty, programs or masters
•degrees, alumni, etc. Communication with external institutions and associations. Creating strategic alliances.
•Run management guidelines regarding services, products and service department to the user in accordance with existing regulations.
•Propose plans for periodic evaluation of the various services and products.
•Coordination of budget module included in the system: WMS (World Management Services).
•Bibliographic and technical guidance. Information query resolution, including actions to follow for proper access to electronic resources subscribed by the library. Management and continuous improvement of the platform: WorldCat and others.
•Syllabus revision.
•Unit development. Greater impact and ROI.
•Assistance in locating, handling and preservation of research data, resource specializing in different areas of knowledge of IE to meet the research needs of researchers in IE.
