Job Description:
The Student Services Department is in charge of offering IE University students resources and information vital for their move to Madrid or Segovia. From obtaining their student visa to finding accommodation, exploring medical insurance options or getting mobile phone service, the SS Department plays a key role in guaranteeing a good start of the student’s life in Spain.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team, bilingual in English and Spanish. Student Services Advisors perform a variety of tasks within clearly defined procedures; decisions are made regarding the set-up, sequencing, and priority of tasks.
Key Action Areas:
• Be familiar with all aspects of office operations
• Be familiar with the programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Complete all tasks assigned in an accurate, prompt and thorough manner.
• Make effective use of work time.
• Be able to communicate and interact positively and effectively with staff and students from different nationalities.
• Possess sound judgment and strong organizational skills.
• Possess the ability to function autonomously.
• Be familiar with word processing, computer data entry, and filing and telephone reception.
• Consistently contribute to department standards.
• Offering excellent customer service, you will be able to empathize with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and be able to communicate clearly to an international audience
