Job Description:
Head of Project Development|Will support the Large-Scale division and will report directly to the CEO.
The company was founded in 4 years ago by a team with large experience in the development and investment of more than 1,000 MW in photovoltaic projects.
Highest responsible of company´s current portfolio and its successful development up to ready-to-build and onwards.
Coordinate the technical evaluation of projects in early stage for origination of greenfield projects, inhouse and with codevelopers. Coordinate the technical Due Diligence of projects. Liaise with external consultants supporting the project design and technical due diligences.
Liaise with landowners, brokers, authorities or developers to negotiate and execute the lease or the purchase (or the option to lease or purchase) the land required for the project (PV field, inverters/transformers, and evacuation line). Manage the Public Utility Declaration and land acquisition procedure if required.
Coordinate the submission and obtain the PLAs (Permits, Licenses and Authorizations) required for the project, including Administrative Authorizations, Environmental Impact Assessment, birdlife studies, Change of Land Use, Business License, Building Permit, Priority Project Declaration, etc.) required for the PV plant and associated evacuation infrastructure. This includes permits at the different administration levels: municipal, autonomic and state.
Coordinate the process to obtain the grid access and connection permits relevant to the PV plant, in accordance with the current regulation (RD 1183/2020 and associated orders) and the TSO (Transport System Operator)/DSO (Distribution System Operator) procedures evacuation line. Agree and execute Joint Evacuation infrastructures where applicable.
Support the inorganic growth (M&A, Merge and Acquisition) of the portfolio by performing the feasibility/crosscheck evaluation of the opportunities received from sellers.
Working towards any financial targets ensuring economic viability of projects.
