Contribute to pipeline and revenue by generating leads, qualifying them.
Role Description:
Business Developers are responsible for opening and/or managing leads according to Company
Sales Process. In this role you will contribute to building our pipeline and revenue by generating and qualifying
leads specifically for clients in the manufacturing sector to position our digital manufacturing solutions in
DELMIA. Your mission is to find decision makers within targeted companies. Engage them on the phone,
identify areas of improvement that map to DELMIA manufacturing solutions (planning, simulation, robotics,
ergonomics, MES/MOM,…), and secure face-to-face meetings for our DELMIA Sales team.
The challenges ahead
- Proficient in completing targeted research using data from a variety of sources: LinkedIN, Web, and Internal
Systems
- Research and Identify key manufacturing decision makers for targeted accounts.
- Research and follow key target accounts and industry trends. Manage long and complex sales cycles.
- Generate opportunities for meetings with key decision makers to drive the sales process forward
- Lead qualification, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections in order to
maximize opportunities.
- Leverage and utilize DELMIA marketing related events, seminars, mailing campaigns to increase brand
awareness and presence.
- Develop strong knowledge of leading industry trends in Manufacturing such as Industry 4.0, Internet of
Things, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain planning & Optimisation
- Transform Open leads into Qualified Leads
- Check contact & site information
- Identify the needs and Customers Business Drivers – Direct customer or Partner contact
- Qualify Leads by providing & justifying mandatory information as per our sales process

Your key success factors?
- Lead generation/Telemarketing, Business Development, Field Marketing and/or Inside Sales experience
- Proven success with Account Management/Development
- Ability to develop strong relationship with sales team.
- Ability to promote company’s value proposition demonstrated with sales goals that meet or exceed company
goals
- Enterprise Software/High Tech Industry Experience desired (ERP systems experience SAP, Oracle, a plus)
- Familiar with MES/MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management Systems) and/or Manufacturing Planning
Applications
- Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English + French and Spanish as a strong preference
- Knowledge of MS Office, salesforce.com or other CRM systems
- Minimum degree requirement BA/BS (Equivalent work experience will be considered)
