Job Description:
ENTERPRISE BY MARLEX selects for a multinational company in the automotive sector a Data Governance Analyst.
Reporting to: Data Governance Manager.
What awaits you?
- As a Data Governance Analyst you will be responsible for implementing the requirements in terms of data governance and data management for a strategic Financial Services project and extending these implementation beyond the project scope to the whole company where required.
- In coordination with the general Data Management and Data Governance function, you will support the development and implementation of the data, analysis and information management strategy creating synergies for the whole company.
- Lead increased quality and reliability of data available to the business for reporting to the European Central Bank, which can also be used for local reporting and business decision making. Ensure data management activity is compliant with ECB requirements and standards.
- Monitor the quality and integrity of the data used by the organization ensuring that there are processes in place to maintain the required data standards, researching and sourcing new solutions.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
- Business Administration Degree, Engineering or comparable.
- SQL programing. BI tools and database knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools.
- Ideally experience working in Data Governance within a global organization or financial institution.
- Experience working with data, data maintenance, associated elements/processes, involved systems and interdependent data.
- Strong data management background who understands data collection, storage, usage, how to create policies and use technology to automate compliance risks.
- Knowledge of SAP/MDG, a plus.
- Ability to partner with the legal, business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures.
Languages: English business fluent.
