Job Description:

Area of responsibility: South Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece)
Based in Coslada (Madrid) - SPAIN
Mission for the Holding function:
To create and support an efficient structure/platform for the Group’s business development in the country/region,
ensuring both efficiency and compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. Furthermore, to promote all
types of synergy opportunities between the different operational units.
Main functions of the Holding Controller to carry out this general mission:
Treasury:
In cooperation with Group Treasury, support with cash and loan management, capital structure optimization and the dividend process.
- Monitor and follow up cash pool limits, loans, and currency policy of Atlas Copco units.
- Contacts with the external banks.
- Support the dividend process.
Tax:
Work close together with the tax departments in the region.
Financial reporting:
Responsibility for the statutory reporting and internal reporting for the Holding company.
- Monthly, Quarterly review and analysis of the results of our operations in the region, using GPS reporting tools, and scorecards.
- Secure timely yearly audited financial statements.
- To realize the mission, Holding should plan and lead regular coordination meetings with the Business Controllers in the country.
Holding board meetings and General Managers coordination meetings:
Assist the Holding Manager in preparing the presentation and material for both meetings.
Internal and external audits:
Coordinate and support.
- Advise on best practice in the administrative area and promote activities to ensure the best internal control.
- Maintain the contacts with the external auditors.
- Coordinate the activities of the yearly external audit.
- Coordinate the audits with the Business Controllers of the Group companies.
Acquisitions & Divestments:
Provide support and help the Holding Manager to participate in acquisitions and divestments.
Others:
- Review of real estate and/or rental contracts. In some cases, take the role of the landlord.
- Provide training in “The Way We Do Things” and the “Business Code of Practice”.
- Support the process for other financial information required for third parties.
