Job Description:
Over the past years, with increasing competition and the rise of tuition fees, Financial Aid has
grown in importance to become a core area for education institutions, as well as for IE. Its
strategic importance goes beyond awarding scholarships and fellowships to candidates. It plays
a pivotal role in supporting all marketing and recruiting activities, as well as building strong
institutional relations with companies, governments, private and public institutions, banks and
funds.
The Financial Aid department also supports strategic projects, such as building a more gender
friendly pipeline or attracting talent and high potential candidates, for instance. Our aim is to be
an effective tool to help open new recruiting niches and markets.
Key Action Areas:
? Contribute to the daily operations of the department
? Provide guidance to candidates regarding Scholarships, and loans available at IE
? Promote the full range of scholarships provided by the IE Foundation and other
sponsoring institutions, as well as the loans which are available to IE candidates.
? Assist candidates in navigating the financial aid process, which includes outlining a
financial plan that is responsible and in-line with their economic needs
? Review and analyze financial aid application data to help determine accurate and
compliant financial aid award packages
? Answer emails and have one to one informative sessions with potential students and/or
parents
? Contribute to build a friendly and comprehensive customer service experience,
candidates value fast responses, and friendly support and information
? Participation in commercial events and information sessions
