International consulting business company.

* Manage accounting operations across an international group of entities based within N. America and Europe.
* Drive development of best-in-class processes concerned with all aspects of financial reporting.
* Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings for each business entity.
* Be responsible for month-end and year-end close processes.
* Prepare accurate monthly forecasting information.
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Develop, document, and maintain business processes and accounting policies to support and strengthen internal controls.
* Leadership of a finance team in London and Barcelona, drawing on other local resources to support the activities of the team.

Requisitos mínimos

* Recognised professional finance qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
* 5-10 years of post-qualified experience.
* Be a self-starter with the confidence to deal appropriately with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
* Working experience as a Financial Controller.
* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, in particular, FRS 102.
* Working knowledge of US/UK taxation.
* Experience driving forward and managing month-end/year-end close processes.
* Excellent accounting software user and systems integration/development experience.
* Preferred: Experience working with resource planning and time management software e.g. Kimble.
