* Supply Chain Director|Interesting Project from scratch
Leading multinational company within the aftermarket sector.
To lead
- act as a point of contact for the team in consultations with other parts of the organization, thereby ensuring the necessary coordination of business processes and bottlenecks;
- conducting work consultations and coordinating relevant bottlenecks, developments, etc.;
- focus on contributions to results and development of employees;
- ensure the team’s personnel management and a high-quality workforce now and in the future;
- developing a culture/climate within the department in which delivering quality and excellent service is considered important and is continuously pursued.Policy
- formulating the Supply Chain policy, in line with the organizational objectives, in terms of objectives, (improvement) activities, projects, planning, budgets, capacity, etc.;
- timely identification and making proposals for structural improvement in business operations;
- developing concrete (policy) notes, (information) texts, (legal) documents, manuals, work instructions, etc.;
- advising on/initiating proposals for improvement, also for the purpose of evaluating/adjusting the policy.
Projects
- managing and participating in projects and monitoring the cohesion between projects;
- researching and thinking about the question and the desired project result in interaction with the organization;
- drawing up an action plan containing output/result, phasing, time planning, budget, quality criteria, etc.;
- organizing the right people and resources and interaction within the organization for the purpose of implementation;
- conducting work consultations and making agreements about the contribution to be made, thereby functionally managing (members of) the project team and/or external parties and functioning as the primary point of contact;
- monitoring progress;
- providing evaluation of projects as input for policy development;
- implement improvements in business operations and evaluate effects.Reporting/recording
- mapping/explaining results, developments and deviations;
- drawing up and delivering periodic (partial) reports and accountability reports.Job specific responsibilities/tasks
- determining the stock and assortment policy for DC, RDC’s and the network (Sub’s);
- investigate and possibly implement partnership opportunities;
- Maintaining contacts and making annual agreements with suppliers
