As a Lead Data Scientist you will build, develop and manage a team of high performing data engineers and scientists.



What will I do? These will be your main functions:

* You will be responsible for setting a bold vision, influencing key stakeholders to building at scale to bring vision to life, creating mechanisms for accountability.
* You should have a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities that can add value to our customers.
* You will also work closely with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
* You will deliver and own the Data Analytics and Machine Learning initiatives and identify opportunities to automate key supply chain planning and execution workflows.
* Responsibilities include building scalable data infrastructure and using algorithms to solve complex problems, translate the analytics solutions back to the business to ensure its actionable and business can drive value from those insights, and build data-driven models.




How will I do it?

Requisitos mínimos

Must

* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other quantitative fields.
* 6+ years of experience working in Data Science.
* Leadership skills.
* Experience in Python and statistical/machine learning tools.
* Knowledge of ETL tools like Pentaho, Talend, AWS Glue or Stitch
* Experienced in handling large data sets using SQL and databases in a business environment.
* Experience with big data tools like Databricks, Apache Spark or Hadoop.
* Applying trade-off driven decisions based on available data in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Ability to work in teams & communicate across multiple levels across the organization.
* Ability to understand customer needs and translate those to achievable scope.
* Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins and GIT.
* Fluency in English.


Wish

* Leading experience, ideally managing Machine Learning Scientists, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
* Experience of working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Elastic search.
* Experience with AWS ML tools like SageMaker, Lex.
* Familiarity with Java, C++, or other programming languages.
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM frameworks.
* Knowledge in supply chain projects.
