We are hiring a Project control Scheduling specialist in our Petrochemical team located in Tarragona.

The service will cover Project Scheduling activities described below to support Project Controls Team, within TES Engineering department.

Main service activities:

• Work with project teams to develop project schedules with variable detail depending on project phase to facilitate project authorization (FEL 1, FEL 2, FEL 3) and follow up (Procurement, Detail Design & Construction).

• Responsible for producing reports and analyses as required by the project team. Guide team in developing project controls strategy as required.

• Provide project Steering Teams with an accurate and realistic schedule at appropriate steps in the project life cycle with analysis of the progress and deviations/solution proposal.

• Recommend alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and/or decision based on personal knowledge and benchmark data.

• Identify and register significant deviations from schedule baseline (Change Management).

Requisitos mínimos

• University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar.

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role.

• Fluent in English.

• Primavera P6 advanced user.

• Computer skills, mainly Excel.

• Demonstrated skills in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to scheduling problems.

• Understanding of the industrial construction process.

• Project management and risk analysis experience is a plus.

• Proactive attitude, working independently or with little supervision.
