Multinational industrial company is looking for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the HSE Management System for Europe. This position will be located in Barcelona area, reporting to the Operations Director.

The HSE Manager will have the folowing responsiilities:

* Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Implement and maintain the HSE Management System.
* Monitor performance against HSE objectives and targets, and take corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Undertake regular audits of the HSE Management System, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions to address any non-conformities.
* Keep abreast of developments in HSE legislation and best practice, and make recommendations for changes to the management system as necessary.
* Prepare and submit reports on HSE performance to senior management.
* Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory authorities and certification bodies as necessary.
* Train employees in HSE procedures and promote a culture of HSE awareness within the organization.
* Develop and deliver HSE induction training for new employees.
* Organize and deliver HSE awareness campaigns and initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date records of HSE training.

Requisitos mínimos

The HSE Manager must meet the following requirements:

* Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in occupational health, safety, or related field.
* 5+ years experience in a HSE role.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE programs.
* Working knowledge of ISO 14001, and 45001 standards.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluency in English & Spanish. French will be value.
* Skills needed: Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, pro-active, motivated and flexible, ability to work autonomously, ethical conduct, nimble learner, results driver, very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, negotiating and leadership skills with an ability to inspire workers.
* Availability to travel 20% aprox.
